Nawafil planning times in London
Estimated windows, not mosque schedules. Tahajjud shows the night ending on the selected date; the highlighted last third is a preferred portion, and Tahajjud is commonly associated with prayer after sleep.
| Prayer times | Start | End |
|---|---|---|
| Tahajjud — previous night | ||
| Last third of the night | ||
| Ishraq / Duha | ||
| Chasht — later morning | ||
| Awwabin — evening usage |
Clock convention: Ishraq/Duha begins 20 minutes after calculated sunrise and ends 10 minutes before solar noon. Chasht highlights the later half of that morning window and overlaps Ishraq; these are not separate mandatory boundaries. Check your local guidance.
Awwabin here means voluntary prayer between Maghrib and Isha, a regional usage. The term also refers to Duha; this row does not prescribe a particular number of rak‘ahs.
References: night prayer and Duha terminology: Bukhari 1145 · Muslim 748a. Times are calculated for the selected coordinates and method, not a local mosque’s congregation schedule. Check your local timetable and adjust when needed. No extra Sehri buffer is added.
Calculated presets are not official mosque timetables. Prayer starts round up; Sunrise and Sehri cutoff round down. A one-minute difference between Sehri cutoff and displayed Fajr can therefore occur. Dhuhr includes a visible post-noon margin; for Umm al-Qura and Kemenag, +1 minute is our app policy, not an official rule. Personal offsets are additional. Missing polar events remain unavailable.

When is Tahajjud (Tahajud) time in London?
The table covers the previous night ending at dawn on your selected date. The last third is shown separately; it is a preferred part of the night, not the whole window. Tahajjud is commonly associated with prayer after sleep.
Are Ishraq and Isha the same prayer?
No. Ishraq is associated with morning Duha after sunrise; Isha is the obligatory night prayer. This page separates their meanings.
Why do Ishraq and Chasht times overlap?
Both refer to morning voluntary prayer. We show Ishraq/Duha from sunrise plus 20 minutes to solar noon minus 10 minutes, with Chasht highlighting a later portion. These clock margins are explicit planning conventions, not universal religious boundaries.
