Ramadan 2027: estimated calendar

Doha

Estimated first fasting day: 2027-02-08. This arithmetic Islamic civil calendar is a planning estimate, not a confirmed moon-sighting announcement. Local authorities may announce different dates. Ramadan begins at sunset on the preceding evening.

Dates below are estimates, not a confirmed moon-sighting announcement. Sehri and Iftar are calculated separately for each date and this city. A different local start changes which date is the first fast; follow your local announcement. Day 30 applies only if the month lasts 30 days.

Times below use the settings shown. Each date uses its own timezone/DST offset; clock changes can cause a one-hour jump.

Calculation details

Coordinates: 25.28545, 51.53096 · Fajr / Isha angles: 18° / 17°

Preset margins (minutes): Dhuhr +1 ·

Calculated presets are not official mosque timetables. Prayer starts round up; Sunrise and Sehri cutoff round down. A one-minute difference between Sehri cutoff and displayed Fajr can therefore occur. Dhuhr includes a visible post-noon margin; for Umm al-Qura and Kemenag, +1 minute is our app policy, not an official rule. Personal offsets are additional. Missing polar events remain unavailable.

How these times are calculated

Understanding your Sehri and Iftar times

Why can Sehri end a minute before the displayed Fajr?

Both use the same calculated dawn. The displayed Sehri cutoff rounds down, while the prayer start rounds up. This can leave a one-minute difference; it is not an extra fixed religious buffer.

Does the preparation planner change my fasting times?

No. It only works backwards from the time shown, using the minutes you choose. Use the Sehri cutoff and Iftar entries for the actual timetable.

Is this a confirmed Ramadan 2027 calendar?

No. The Ramadan table is a calculated planning estimate. Follow the Ramadan announcement for your locality; it may differ from this estimated date range.

Why do different apps show different Sehri or Iftar times?

Match the date, exact location, timezone, calculation method and manual adjustments. Dawn angles and rounding affect Sehri; sunset margins can affect Iftar. The comparisons on this page keep the other inputs fixed.

Do I need to add an hour for daylight saving?

No. Each date uses the selected timezone’s clock rules. The duration here is elapsed time, so a clock change is not counted as an extra hour of fasting. Check the displayed timezone when using GPS.

Can reminders wake me when this page is closed?

These reminders need the page to stay open. A sleeping browser or locked screen can stop them. Use your device’s alarm for a wake-up reminder you need to rely on.
